The disclosure log lists selected replies by the National Archives of Scotland for corporate information under the Freedom of information (Scotland) Act, 2002 that are likely to be of general interest. All personal information has been removed in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1998. You can access details of requests made and the information provided in response to these requests.

23 February 2005 15 Individual A member of the public requested information on the discussions which have taken place concerning proposed charges to the public for use of records held at NAS and GRH after the opening of the new Family History Centre in 2006.

A copy of the final version of the charging proposals for the Scottish Family History Service were provided to the individual. This, along with the reply to the request, can be viewed in the attached documents.

23 March 2005 19 Company Edinburgh Procurement requested information about NAS’s procurement processes; a list of suppliers that account for 80% of the total annual value of contracts in operation; and the name of the management individual responsible for the procurement strategy, policy and procedures.

A copy of a spreadsheet containing details of all purchase orders raised between 01/01/04 and 31/12/04 with a minimum value of £10 was provided to the individual. This, along with the reply to the request, can be viewed in the attached documents.
